Surfing in Rincon Puerto Rico

Deemed the “Maui of the Caribbean” by many experienced surfers, Rincon features some of the most unforgettable waves in the world. It is centered on a point that catches swells from two directions, with consistent offshore winds. Waves are predominately reef breaks, which are able to sustain large swells; channels usually allow easy access into the line-up.  The best waves typically occur from September through May.
